GOP and Kavanaugh Fakery

Let's be clear on what the GOP is asking us to hold in our minds as true...

1) Dr. Ford is lying about the two most critical aspects of her testimony... her attackers.

2) That her story (except for the most critical aspects of her testimony) is TRUE AND CREDIBLE in the overall facts. She WAS assaulted... just not by Kavanaugh.

3) That Kavanaugh has an impeccable character... Except for his habitual underage drinking, his veiled—IN PRINT—youthful boasts of group sex (Devil's Triangle and boof), and clear inferences of slandering a "good friend and great person" Renate Schroeder Dolphin.

4) That a left wing conspiracy (that didn't materialize against Gorsuch) is a given and that Dr. Ford (who WAS ASSAULTED by SOMEONE) is a part of said conspiracy... even though her testimony against him was documented at least as far back as 2012.

5) That he DIDN'T watch Ford's testimony ( a lie that was uncovered almost as soon as Sen. Harris got him to state it on the record.

Kavanaugh has already lied extensively in his previous confirmation testimony. Yesterday, he lied several times simply because he figured he wouldn't be called out on it. But let's be clear. He was lying in order to be SEATED FOR LIFE on the highest court (arguably) on the planet. This is a serious character issue. The ABA (who had previously endorsed him) has called for an FBI investigation.

I'll make it easier than that. He has disqualified himself with his numerous lies and Collins should have no problem with rejecting him. Withdraw him now.

So it's a MAJOR night for some of my faves. Missy. DID. the DAMN. THANG. Side note: Describe J Lo's performance from last year. Can't do it? Thass what I thought. Third Party Politics, A Primer

You want to build a legit third party for 2020? Convince Bernie Sanders to officially declare as a Reform Party candidate and build a state by state coalition of Bernie Sanders-affiliated candidates in State and local races. The Greens are done. The Reform Party actually placed Jesse Ventura in the Minnesota Governor's mansion AND earned the most third party votes since McGovern. There is NO 2024 bench for the Dems. The GOP is struggling too. If you want to break the duopoly,  you'll need a legit 3rd-partier with media presence, charisma, and real political talent. That can't happen overnight, but the unrest in the country is real. You can't beat the system this year, but if you can find the money, you can get candidates into the game. You need someone like Colin Powell to be a standard bearer. Not for POTUS. He'll be too old after this cycle.
